Jessica Collins graduated from Queen’s University in 2006 with her BSc. in Physical Therapy. At Queen’s, she worked as the student trainer for the women’s varsity soccer team for 2 years. Since then, Jess has worked in a variety of physiotherapy clinics-most recently in the Kemptville area. In 2020, Jess decided to start her own physiotherapy clinic because she strongly believes that patients deserve one on one personalized care. It is important to Jess that she provides cutting edge services. Throughout her career, she has completed numerous advanced level courses and is trained in Acupuncture, Functional Dry Needling, Manual therapy, Neural Mobility, K-taping, Concussion Management, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral and Neural Manipulation.
Jess enjoys helping her clients find relief from sports injuries, post-concussive symptoms and chronic pain. Her clinical interests involve gentle hands-on treatment techniques to release restrictions found deep within the body through Craniosacral Therapy. She has dedicated the past 10 years to more in-depth studies in craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation which have provided excellent results for her patients suffering from ongoing neck pain, back disorders, chronic pain, as well as concussions and headaches. Her extensive training brings depth to her physio treating capabilities for her clients. Jess is committed to ongoing physio education while keeping her clients as her top priority.
Jess grew up just outside of Kemptville, and in her spare time, enjoys playing soccer and hockey and reading. She loves spending time outdoors with her family and looking after her dog, Marley.
